‘Feeling At Home In Pakistan’ Sam Pitroda Sparks A New Controversy
Internet/Hyderabad, Sept 1`9 (Maxim News): Indian Overseas Congress Chief Sam Pitroda has sparked another controversy. He recently visited his cousin’s country and said that he felt at home during his visit to Pakistan. These comments have created a political uproar. The BJP has criticized the Congress party for always taking a positive stance on Pakistan.
Sam Pitroda, who recently spoke on foreign policy, suggested that India should prioritize improving relations with neighboring countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. On this occasion, he shared his personal experiences while visiting those countries. ‘I went to Pakistan. I must definitely tell you this. I felt at home there. I went to Bangladesh. I went to Nepal. I felt at home there too,’ he commented.
Sam Pitroda commented that the genes of the people of India are the same as the genes of the people of those countries, and there are also cultural similarities for close relations between all these countries.
However, he admitted that there are also some challenges like terrorism and violence. However, the BJP is strongly criticizing Pitroda’s comments praising Pakistan. It is not surprising that the Congress has been showing a positive attitude towards Pakistan from the beginning. (Maxim News)
