Hyderabad: A female physiotherapy doctor died by suicide in Qutubullapur on Saturday, February 7. The incident occurred under the limits of the Suraram police station. Police identified the deceased as Anitha, aged 29. She was a resident of Saibaba Nagar. She was working as a physiotherapy doctor at Mallareddy Hospital, according to the details available.
The incident came to light after Anitha was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her residence. Officials said the incident happened when no one else was at home. She was unmarried. However, it is not known what led her to take the extreme step. Police did not mention any immediate reason behind the incident.
Meanwhile, initial information confirmed that the incident took place during daytime hours on Saturday. Since no family members were present at home, the matter came to notice later.
