Fire broke out in Secunderabad, cash seized during the investigation

Hyderabad, May 14: A fire broke out in a house in Secunderabad’s Regimental Bazar on Saturday night. According to the sources, the fire broke out in the bedroom of the house and caused damage to wooden furniture and other belongings. However, no one was injured in the incident.

It is learnt that the fire was reportedly caused by a short circuit. The fire department was called to the scene and was able to bring the fire under control within an hour. After the fire, the police conducted a search of the house and found a large amount of cash. The police seized money of Rs 1 crore, 64 lakh 45 thousand cash, gold and silver from the house.

The owner of the house, Srinivas, is a DGM in a leading company. The same company is also doing government electrical contract business. He was not in the city at the time of the fire. The police are investigating the matter to find out the source of the cash.
