Firefighters reached the spot as soon as they were informed about the incident. The staff controlled the fire with the help of four fire engines. Those trapped inside were brought out. A police officer said that the rescue operations were hampered due to the spread of thick smoke. Meanwhile, two days ago, a fire broke out in a hotel in Birbhum district.
