Five Fake Industrialists Held For Cheating Bank

Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): In a case of cheating Bank of Maharashtra, police arrested one Anil Kumar Jaju of Sanath Nagar and produced before the Court of XII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate for judicial custody.

Police said Radhey Shyam Bansal, Zonal Manager of Bank of Maharashtra, Hyderabad lodged a complaint on December 29, 2018 stating that Messrs Anna Eco Logics Pvt Ltd, Begumpet Hyderabad represented by its Directors Gapta Srikar and Yelimali Venkatesh approached the Manager of Bank of Maharashtra, Khairatabad Branch, stating that they wanted to start manufacturing sanitary napkins and maternity pads and sought cash credit facility of Rs Two crore by mortgaging house property on 500 sq.yard plot situated at BK Guda, SR Nagar. After availing the Cash Credit Loan, the company failed to repay and declared as NPA. The bank initiated proceedings under SARFAESI Act.

When an official of the Bank tried to identify the mortgaged property, he found that the mortgaged property was non-existing with a fake GHMC house number for registration. Police said Anil Kumar Jaju colluded with Dr Gouri Anil Kumar, Y. Srinivas, Dr Pisapati Narayana and others formed one Anna Eco Logics Pvt Ltd in the name of benami Directors Gapta Srikar and Yelimali Venkatesh and got registered the property bearing H.No.7-1-304/5/D/3, admeasuring 500 Sq.Yards situated at BK Guda, in Sy.No. 155 and 157 in SR Nagar, Hyderabad from Anil Kumar Jaju at SRO Ameerpet Hyderabad with forged legal heir certificate and fictitious GHMC house number and mortgaged the same as collateral security and obtained the loan of Rs 2 crore from the Bank and transferred the same into five different company accounts i.e. R.S.Clay Tech, Shivani Sales Corp, Neetha Chemicals, Beekeys, Deepthi Pharma and became defaulter and caused huge loss to the bank and wrongfully gained by the accused Gouri Anil Kumar, Y. Srinivas, Dr P. Narayana and Anil Kumar Jaju and others. So far A-1 to A-5 were arrested in the case. The case was investigated by S.V. Hari Krishna, ACP, WCO Team-V under the supervision of Addl. Dy.Commissioner of Police, CCS, DD Hyderabad.
