Focus on Welfare, Development programmes: Chandrababu Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said that welfare and development are priorities of the government and asked the District Collectors to focus on these two subjects.On the second day of the District Collectors conference here, the Chief Minister said the government should win the confidence and satisfaction of people after implementing several welfare programmes.
Reviewing the Health sector, Mr Naidu directed the officials to appoint doctors in government hospitals through outsourcing. He further asked the District Collectors to inspect the government hospitals once in a month.
Mr Naidu said organic vegetable cultivation being implemented for pregnant women should be followed in all districts, adding that smart phones would be distributed to anganwadi school teachers and software should be developed for maintenance of anganwadi schools.Minister for Rural Development Nara Lokesh said that a pilot project was successfully implemented for collecting taxes in West Godavari district.
