Food Poisoning now in KTR’s Den, 20 Students Critical

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Maxim News): Food poisoning cases in the government educational institutions have become a repeated menace as last year there were 34 such food poisoning cases reported in Telangana state in which more than 1200 students suffered ill, now the same incident been reported in this new year of 2023 at BRS Working President and Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, IT and Industries Sircilla district.

The incident of food poisoning took place in Racharla Gollapally village of Yellareddypet Mandal in Rajanna Siricilla district. The students who had lunch at Mandal Parishad Primary School in the village got food poisoning, as a result, 10 students became seriously ill. Immediately they were taken to Sircilla Hospital.

As part of the Mana Uru-Mana Badi program, the sump of the water has been repaired, the school staff said that safe water has not been coming properly for the last three days. they said that they brought water with a tanker, The staff say that the students may have got food poisoning due to drinking this water,

The parents of the students expressed their anger that the food poisoning happened due to the negligence of the staff. The students were shifted to the district’s main hospital and medical tests are being conducted.

On learning about the matter, DMHO Mohan Rao and RDO Srinivas Rao reached the hospital and inquired about the condition of the students. He said that the child’s health is stable. (Maxim News)
