For AIMIM, 2020 was an eventful year
Hyderabad, Jan 3 (Maxim News): The All India Majlis e Ittehad ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) completed an eventful year 2020 which was marked by a resounding GHMC poll victory which was summed up as “memorable and encouraging” by its supremo Asaduddin Owaisi.
AIMIM on a Winning Streak:
The AIMIM started their winning streak by occupying 5 assembly seats in Bihar opening their account with a bang in the State, then continued their success by storming back into Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation by winning 44 seats in the 150-member the corporation.
AIMIM National Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the GHMC victory was not just of the party but of “work-based politics” and dedication of its corporators. Now, the party’s aim in 2021 is to win polls in West Bengal other states and replicate the Bihar victory there. “Hum Her State Jayengey” (we will go to every state), said Asaduddin Owaisi.
AIMIM Education & Healthcare Activities:
AIMIM has been active in addressing the educational and healthcare needs of the public in their constituencies. Akbaruddin Owaisi have been catering to the basic needs of the people through Owaisi group of hospitals run by Darussalam Educational Trust and Owaisi School of Excellence managed by Salar e Millath Educational Trust, where subsidized medical treatment and totally free education to the children is offered. Asad’s dream for 2021 is to replicate the Hyderabad model in other states.
AIMIM Relief Activities:
AIMIM was also very active in COVID19 Relief and Cyclone Relief in Hyderabad through Majlis Charity, Education & Relief Trust.
They distributed sanitizers and face-masks to religious places, police stations, non-governmental organisations etc.
Collaborative Efforts:
Asad Owaisi also stressed that he wants to work in coordination with the local political parties especially those belonging to weaker sections of the society. (Maxim News)
