Hyderabad, April 10 (Maxim News): Former Bodhan MLA Shakeel has been arrested by the police. Shakeel was detained by the police at the Shamshabad airport. An arrest warrant has been issued for Shakeel in various cases. He hasd been living in Dubai for some time.
However, Shakeel’s mother passed away due to illness. Shakeel came to Hyderabad for the funeral. The police came to knw that the former MLA was coming and detained him at the Shamshabad airport.
However, the former MLA requested the police to allow him to go to his mother’s funeral. The police agreed to this. The police will detain him immediately after the funeral of Shakeel’s mother.
The police will arrest Shakeel in a case already registered at the Panjagutta police station. Shakeel has previously been accused of trying to manage the Panjagutta police in the road accident case at Praja Bhavan and save his son from the case.
Due to this, a case has also been registered against him. Shakeel, who knew about the registration of the case, stayed in Dubai instead of coming to India. Now, after arriving in India, the airport authorities detained him and informed the Hyderabad police. They immediately reached there and arrested Shakeel.
However, the police allowed the former MLA to attend his mother’s funeral. Shakeel is likely to be detained and taken to the Panjagutta police station this evening. (Maxim News)
