Hyderabad: Former Police Constable, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Qadeer passes away on Friday

Abdul Qadeer was released after serving 25 years of imprisonment in a Hyderabad jail.  Abdul Qadeer was arrested on the spot for killing his superior Assistant Commissioner of Police N. Satya at Chatrinaka police station at the peak of communal riots in the old city on December 8, 1990 in which over 200 people died and hundred others injured
court had found him guilty and awarded him life imprisonment of killing his senior on-duty.

He released as the State Government responded positively to numerous appeals and representations for commuting his life imprisonment.
