Formula-E Race Case: Centre Sanctions Prosecution Of IAS Arvind Kumar

Hyderabad, Feb. 14: Formula-E Race Case has taken a significant turn after the Centre granted sanction to prosecute IAS officer Arvind Kumar.

Earlier, the Governor had approved prosecution against BRS leader and former minister KTR in the same case.

With sanction now in place for both political and administrative figures, ACB officials are preparing to file a chargesheet.

The agency has already completed its final report and outlined key findings.

Formula-E Race Case: ACB Final Report Details

According to the ACB report, KTR has been named as Accused No.1, while IAS officer Arvind Kumar is listed as Accused No.2.

BLN Reddy has been named as Accused No.3. Representatives of FEO have been included as Accused Nos.4 and 5.

The report states that the decision to conduct the Formula-E race was taken by KTR.

It further alleges that the event was organised without required approvals from the Telangana government.

Investigators have also cited alleged quid pro quo arrangements. The report claims that BRS received Rs 44 crore through electoral bonds.

It further states that e-bonds were allegedly transferred before the signing of the tripartite agreement.

With prosecution approvals secured, the ACB is expected to move forward legally.

The filing of the chargesheet is likely to shape the next phase of proceedings in the Formula-E Race Case.
