Ganesha In The Shape Of CM Revanth Reddy: Police Shocked The Organizers
Hyderabad, Aug 28 (Maxim News): The installation of a statue of Lord Ganesha in the shape of CM Revanth Reddy in Aghapura, Goshamahal constituency, has become a hot topic of discussion. Complaints have been registered in several police stations in this regard. Several BJP leaders, including MLA Raja Singh, have expressed their anger, saying that the statue was installed to hurt the sentiments of Hindu devotees.
To this extent, complaints were filed at several police stations across the city demanding action against Telangana Fisheries Corporation Chairman Mettu Saikumar, who installed the statue. Following this, the South West DCP visited the mandapam where the statue was installed. He gently warned the organizer Saikumar not to hurt the sentiments of the devotees. Later, he ordered the statue to be removed. As per the police orders, the organizer Saikumar removed the statue of Lord Ganesha in the attire of CM Revanth Reddy and installed another statue.
