Champion of Education and Social Welfare

Apart from his achievements in business, Babukhan was deeply committed to social service and education. He founded the Hyderabad Zakath and Charitable Trust (HZCT) and the Foundation for Economic and Educational Development (FEED), both of which have transformed the lives of thousands of underprivileged students.

Starting with a modest zakat collection of ₹11 lakh in 1992, HZCT grew to support over 24,000 students across 106 schools, including many in remote parts of Telangana.

In recognition of his sustained efforts toward minority upliftment through education and economic progress, the Government of Telangana honored him with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad National Award in 2014.

As the guiding force behind the Hyderabad Institute of Excellence, Babukhan worked tirelessly to provide access to world-class education for deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
