GHMC Division: Commissioners named for 3 corporations
GHMC Division | Hyderabad, Feb. 11: The government has issued orders appointing commissioners for the three newly formed municipal corporations following the division of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
The move formalises the administrative restructuring of GHMC into three separate entities.
The three corporations include GHMC, Malkajgiri, and Cyberabad. As part of the reorganisation, the government assigned senior officials to head each civic body to ensure smooth governance and administrative continuity.

According to the orders issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, RV Karnan will continue as the Commissioner of GHMC.
Meanwhile, the government appointed Srijana as the Commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation. Vinay Krishna Reddy has been named the Commissioner of Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
The appointments come soon after the decision to split GHMC into three divisions. With this step, the government aims to streamline administration across the expanded urban region.
Officials stated that the new structure will function under designated leadership in each corporation.
The issuance of orders marks the next phase in implementing the GHMC division. The appointed commissioners are expected to take charge as per the government’s directive.
