GHMC Focus On Controlling Illegal Constructions

Hyderabad, October 21: GHMC Commissioner Ilambarthi has directed the officials of the concerned department to pay special attention to controlling illegal constructions in the city.

He took part in the public address program held at the GHMC head office on Monday and assured us that they would take steps to solve the problem by asking people who came from all over the city to solve their problems.

On this occasion, the Commissioner said that the authorities should take the initiative in solving the problems of the people. It has been clarified that HODs must attend the Prajavani program.

Most of the complaints related to the town planning department are received in public and appropriate measures should be taken to control the illegal constructions completely. Conducted monthly review meetings with DCs, Section Officers, and Town Planning Officers, and how many complaints were received? How many notices have been issued as per the rules? What action was taken? CCP was advised to review other matters. He directed that the minutes of the review be made and the report of the minutes of the Atty be handed over to him. It is advised to take proper action at the DC level and resolve the complaints.

The legal officer was advised to review all court cases. The CMHO was directed to regularly review and make minutes of all other aspects related to the issuance of birth and death certificates related to the health department. It has been suggested that the details of the complaints received by the Veterinary Department and the center-wise report of the sterilized dogs should be submitted. Officers of all departments are advised to look into the complaints received in public and take steps to solve them quickly. He advised the concerned officer to record all the complaints received in the public radio department wise in the computer and report how many were received to which section and how many were coming from the circles.
