Hyderabad: GHMC wins Best Stall award at Numaish 2026 for showcasing handmade products by urban Self Help Groups at the annual exhibition in Nampally. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation secured the recognition for its stall set up under the Urban Community Development wing. The exhibition attracted thousands of visitors from across the city. Moreover, the award underlined the civic body’s focus on promoting community based enterprises.

The stall featured products created by 35 Self Help Groups. All items on display were handmade. Visitors appreciated the quality and variety of the exhibits. As a result, the stall witnessed steady footfall throughout the event. Organisers presented a citation in the name of the Commissioner.

Gosha Mahal Project Officer Vijayalakshmi received the appreciation certificate and memento on behalf of the corporation. Subsequently, Commissioner RV Karnan congratulated the Self Help Group members and officials. He praised their coordinated effort and dedication. According to officials, the participation aimed to provide marketing support to urban women entrepreneurs.
