Godavari Pushkaralu 2027: Arvind Urges Early Arrangements

Hyderabad, March 14: Dharmapuri Arvind, Member of Parliament, has urged the state government to make early preparations for the smooth conduct of Godavari Pushkaralu 2027. In a letter addressed to Roads and Buildings Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, the MP requested comprehensive arrangements at the Godavari river ghats in the Nizamabad parliamentary constituency.

The MP said that crores of devotees are expected to visit the ghats during the festival. Major locations include Kandakurti, Pochampad, Tadapakal and Walgonda. These ghats fall in Nizamabad and Jagtial districts. Therefore, Arvind stressed the need for early planning to manage the expected rush of pilgrims.

Meanwhile, the MP asked the government to develop the ghats and improve key infrastructure. He called for better roads and effective traffic management. He also highlighted the need for drinking water supply, sanitation facilities and toilets at the ghats. According to him, these steps will help ensure a smooth experience for devotees who visit during Godavari Pushkaralu 2027.

Arvind also urged the government to arrange strong security and essential services. He requested police deployment, CCTV cameras and medical camps at the ghats. In addition, he asked for ambulances, fire services and uninterrupted power supply. He also suggested installing high mast lights to improve safety during the event.

Furthermore, the MP requested special transport and parking arrangements. He asked the government to run RTC special buses and create adequate parking spaces for vehicles. These measures, he said, would help manage the large number of visitors expected during the Pushkaralu.

Finally, Arvind appealed to the state government to sanction the required funds immediately. He also requested officials to complete the works in mission mode. According to him, timely action will help avoid inconvenience to devotees who will travel to the ghats for the holy event.
