Godavari River Water Level Surge: Flowing Above 2nd Warning Level
Bhadradri Kothagudem/Hyderabad, July 22 (Maxim News): Godavari River water level has reached 46,40 feet at Bhadrachalam. The flood flow reached 10,68,602 cusecs, in this sequence Godavari became furious and it proceedings towards the second danger warning. Officials will issue a second hazard warning if it exceeds 48 feet.

Floods hit the Taliperu project in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. With this, the authorities are lifting 25 gates of the project and releasing 62,932 cusecs of water. Taliperu inflow is 59,420 cusecs. On the other hand, the same situation continues in the Illandu division. In the Illandu division, the rivers are overflowing Kinnerasani, Jalleru, Mallanna, and Seven Melika streams are flowing in Gundala and Allapalli mandals. Around 13 villages have been stopped.
Meanwhile, the Priyadarshini Jurala project in Mahbubnagar district is overflowing. The full water level of Priyadarshini Jurala is 318.516 m. The current water level has reached 317.210 m. The full water storage has reached 9.657. The current water storage has reached 7.115 tmc. The inflow of Pryadarshini Jurala is 1,42,000 cusecs while the outflow is 1,33,497 cusecs. In this order, the authorities have lifted 27 gates related to the project. (Maxim News)
