Godavari Water Level Rises at Bhadrachalam, Officials Predict More

Bhadrachalam/Hyderabad, Aug 16 (Maxim News): Due to the rains in the Godavari basin for the past three days, the water level of Godavari is gradually rising at Bhadrachalam.

The water level, which was 20.8 feet at 12 midnight on Thursday, reached 23.6 feet at 6 am on Friday. It reached 25.4 feet at 12 noon and 26.3 feet at 4 am. Officials estimate that it is likely to reach 28 feet by night.

Meanwhile, water is flowing from the bathing areas of Godavari in Bhadrachalam. Warning boards have been installed to inform devotees and tourists.  (Maxim News)
