Gold rates today, 17 January 2023: Gold rates today in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kerala, Visakhapatnam, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai surged while silver rates also hike. The Gold rates have been choppy in the recent past and the reason for it according to the experts is the weakness in the Indian rupee.
The gold rates in Delhi for 10 grams of 22-carat have remained at Rs. 52,350 with a hike of Rs. 190 and that of 10 grams of 24-carat gold is at 57,100 with a hike of Rs. 110. The gold rate in Chennai per 10 grams of 22 carats is at Rs 53,170 with a hike of Rs. 200 and the gold rate of 24-carat is at Rs. 58,000 with a hike of Rs. 220.
The gold rate in Kolkata per 10 grams of 22 carats is Rs. 52,200 and the rate for 10 grams of 24 carats is at Rs. 56,950. The gold rates in Mumbai per 10 grams of 22 carats have been at Rs. 52,200 and Rs. 56,950 per 10 grams of 24 carats. The silver rates have been at Rs. 72,900 in Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai and the rate of silver in Chennai is at Rs. 75,900
However, going by the rates of yellow metal in major cities, the Gold rate in Bangalore city for 10 grams of 22-carat is at Rs. 52,200 with a hike of Rs. 190 and the gold rate of 10 grams of 24-carat is at Rs. 56,950 with a hike of Rs. 210. The gold rates in Hyderabad are holding at Rs. 52,200 per 10 grams of 22-carat with a hike of Rs. 190 and 10 grams of 24-carat gold is at Rs. 56,950 with a hike of Rs. 210.
Gold rates in Kerala per 10 grams of 22-carat are at Rs. 52,200 and the gold rate of 10 grams of 24 carats is at Rs. 56,950. Visakhapatnam’s gold rates are Rs. 52,200 per 10 grams of 22-carat and 10 grams of 24-carat gold is Rs. 56,950.
On the other hand, silver rates in Hyderabad, Kerala, Bangalore, and Visakhapatnam per kilogram have been at Rs. 75,800.

The gold rates have been decreasing as the Federal Reserve hinted over the rise in interest rates.
