It is known that after the Congress government came to power in Telangana, it has been distributing rice to ration card holders . The Telangana government is providing 6 kg of rice per month to each beneficiary. That is, 18 kg has to be distributed to each person. The central government has ordered a rice quota sufficient for 3 months at a time. Is there sufficient rice reserves in the state to that extent? The Telangana government is examining whether it is possible to supply rice for three months.

In the past, there have been occasions when the central government has given ration for 3 months at a time . Last year, during the monsoon season, it distributed three months of rice quota in a single month . However, at that time, not only the beneficiaries but also the ration dealers faced severe difficulties. Storing three months of goods at a time is not possible for ration dealers. Also, the beneficiary has to put three stamps at a time for three months. This takes at least 15 to 20 minutes. It also takes time to mix the rice. If these problems are resolved, giving three months of ration will not be a big problem. Moreover, distributing 3 months of rice at a time will reduce the cost of transportation charges. In addition, there are chances that dealers and porters will also get a cut. Meanwhile,
