Governor Dattatreya urges youth to pursue education
Hyderabad, Aug.26 (Maxim News): Haryana governor Bandaru Dattatreya today called upon the youth of the State to grow in life by pursuing education and asked them to not stop themselves by rearing sheep and cattle. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering at the Golla Kurma community felicitation program held in Jammikunta town.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he has come to unveil the statue of freedom fighter Padala Chandraiah in the capacity of the governor of Haryana . He thanked the people of Jammikunta for inviting him with love . He prayed that the State should receive good rainfall and farmers receive good harvest . Talking about the former Zilla Parishad chairperson of Karimnagar Tula Uma, who belonged to the Golla Kurna community , she said that it was a matter of pride for all the women that Uma had gone in to become the ZP chairperson despite the fact she hailed from the golla kurma community.
Stating that he also belonged to the same golla kurma community, Dattatreya said that the blessings of all the community people had helped Him to become the governor of Haryana although he hailed from a poor family. He told the youth that education had helped him achieve so many successes in his life . He urged the community people to provide good education to their children and added that education was the only source which will help the community people to grow in life.
He rued that several youngsters of the community were still carrying out their community work like rearing sheep and buffaloes. Dattatreya spoke to a seventh standard student Ramya after inviting her on Dias. On being inquired about her dream in life, The girl told the governor that her Dream was to become a police officer. Following this, the governor asked the parents of the girl to provide her good education while hoping that Ramya should become an IPS officer. (Maxim News)
