Hyderabad, June 20 (Maxim News):  Governor C.P  Radhakrishnan extended his warmest greetings to all on the occasion of the 10th International Day of Yoga-2024, which will be observed worldwide on June 21.

The theme for the International Day of Yoga-2024 is “Yoga for Self and Society”  This year focus is on the transformative power of yoga to enhance the well-being of individuals and contribute to a healthier society.

Yoga is an integral part of our rich ancient Indian heritage which has immense potential for enhancing the physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing of all practitioners.

Yoga helps in achieving the balance of mind, body, and soul. If practiced regularly, it helps in the perfect union of body and mind and contributes positively to the practitioners and all-around well-being.

The Governor thanked Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for his relentless efforts in getting June 21 declared as International Yoga Day by the United Nations General Assembly. he said.  (Maxim News)
