Governor Of AP Abdul Nazir As In-Charge To Telangana

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 18 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan resigned from the post, she also resigned from the post of Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. and sent her resignation letter to President Draupadi Murmu, in this connection the Center has assigned additional responsibilities to AP governor Abdul Nazir as the in-charge Governor of Telangana

It may be recalled that Tamilisai Soundararajan took charge as the Governor of Telangana on September 8, 2019.  She continued as Governor for almost four and a half years.  

It is said that Dr. Tamilisai is contesting as the MP from Tamil Nadu as she is expected to get a BJP ticket for the upcoming Parliamentary elections, she resigned as the line was cleared to contest Lok Sabha from Chennai Central.  Before the post of Telangana Governor, she also served as the Tamil Nadu State BJP President.
