Governor Performs Prayers At Yadadri Temple On Her Maiden Visit

Hyderabad, Dec.9 (Maxim News): Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan today visited Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy temple and participated in special pooja program. It was her maiden visit to the Yadadri hill shrine. State Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha Mahender Reddy and EO of temple accorded the Governor a traditional welcome at the abode of Lord Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy on her arrival.

The Temple officials welcomed the Governor couple into the temple while the priests of the temple offered them blessings. The Governor offered a special pooja along with her family members,.

Speaking on the occasion, Tamilisai Soundararajan said that she felt very happy to visit Yadadri Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple along with her family members. She said that she had prayed to the Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy for the development of the Telangana state. The police made elaborate security arrangements on Yadadri hill shrine in view of the visit of the Governor.

The Governor will also visit massive Kaleshwaram life irrigation project as part of her State wide tour. She is visiting the project following a request by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao during one of his recent meetings with the governor at Rajbhavan.

The Governor will also visit Karim Nagar, Peddapally, Warangal, Bhupalapally districts too. (Maxim News)
