Governor Should Explain Under What Authority Kejriwal Holding The Post Of CM: High Court
Hyderabad, March 28 (Maxim News): They rejected the petition filed to remove Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from the post of Chief Minister. The High Court bench decided that is not a matter under the jurisdiction of the judiciary it is related to politics, therefore they cannot interfere in this matter.

The High Court said that this matter is within the purview of the executive (Governor). The Court asked whether there is any law that says it is mandatory to remove Kejriwal after he is in custody.
Six days ago, ED officials arrested Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquor Scam case, In this context, a person named Surjit Singh Yadav filed a petition in the Delhi High Court last Friday to remove him from the post of Chief Minister. In his petition, Surjit Singh Yadav demanded that the Centre, the Delhi government, and the Principal Secretary to the Lt. Governor should be asked to explain under what authority Kejriwal is holding the post of Chief Minister. Along with that, they demanded that Kejriwal should be removed from the post immediately.
