Governor Tamilisai, CM KCR condoles former CM Roshaiah’s death

Hyderabad, Dec.4 (Maxim News): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed grief and shock at the demise of former chief minister of undivided AP, K Roshaiah.

In a communique the Governor expressed grief at the passing away of K. Rosaiah, the former Governor of Tamil Nadu and former chief minister of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

Paying rich tributes to his memory, the Governor termed him as an iconic politician in the undivided Andhra Pradesh.

The Governor said that Rosaiah adhered to the ideals of highest order in politics and public life.

“It is a great testimony to his unmatched accumen in administration that he presented the State Budget for a record number of 15 times, she said.

The Governor said “In his death, the country and Telugu States lost a legendary leader known for his authority on many subjects.”

The Governor offered her deep condolences to the members of the bereaved family.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed sympathies over the death of former united AP CM K Rosaiah. The Chief Minister recalled Rosaiah as the one leader who brought many laurels to the posts he held such as finance ministry and is known for his patience, gentleness and simplicity.

The CM has conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family. (Maxim News)
