Governors Have The Right To Talk Politics And Express Views: Governor Tamilisai

Hyderabad, July 9 (Maxim News): Telangana governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that Governors also have the right to talk about politics. She said that Governors have the same right as leaders of political parties to participate in political discussions.

Tamilisai’s comments echoed Tamil Nadu BJP chief K.annamalai’s recent comments that Governors should refrain from discussing politics.

Annamalai mentioned the recent political developments along with Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi. Annamalai suggested that Governors should refrain from discussing politics and holding press conferences regularly.

Speaking to the reporters at the Coimbatore Airport, Tamilisai responded and was given clarifications that Governors have the right to talk about politics and have the right to express their views. (Maxim News)
