This significant milestone fills the hearts of Telanganites across the globe with immense pride and happiness. Telangana Formation Day serves as a poignant reminder of the countless sacrifices made by our youth in the relentless pursuit of a separate state. I pay my humble respects to the martyrs of the Telangana movement whose unwavering dedication paved the way for this achievement.

The struggle for statehood was a testament to the collective spirit of Telangana’s people. Witnessing spirited participation from all sections of society, this mass movement gained significant momentum with the unwavering sacrifices of students and young leaders.

I am confident that the aspirations and relentless efforts of the people, employees, leaders, and policymakers will continue to safeguard Telangana’s unique identity and ensure its rightful share of resources and opportunities. Renowned for its leadership in IT, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and agriculture, Telangana is resolutely on a path of inclusive development and prosperity.
