Govt is For Welfare of Contract Lecturers: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, July 4 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today stated that the government is for welfare of contract lecturers. Attending a meeting of contract lecturers he said that chief minister K Chandra sekhar Rao has given green signal for basic pay for them. KCR is kind enough and taking necessary measures to get them pay hike as per recent decision, he said.

The contract lecturers will be regularised and get hike on par with regular lecturers, the Finance Minister said. Ours is an employees friendly Government that helps all sections, Harish Rao claimed.

The contract lecturers will get basic pay hike and benefits as per PRC and salaries in first week itself, he assured. KCR government offered job security to the contract lecturers and began free education in Intermediate. Previous governments’ failed to give posts after setting up colleges.

However the TRS Government is giving now equal payments to the contract lecturers. (Maxim News)
