Govt is Ready to Tackle Corona: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, Jan.17 (Maxim News): Health and Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said that the government is ready to tackle the corona issue.

Corona is under control in the state despite a surge in cases as we took all measures to contain further spread by vaccination, he reportedly said at the Cabinet meeting.

Harish Rao informed the Cabinet meeting at Pragathi Bhavan chaired by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and attended by ministers and top officials.

The minister said that the government is ready with all facilities, equipment, medicines, and staff to provide better and instant services to the people. The corona victims are needless to worry as the Omicron is less severe despite cases seeing a steep rise.

The state government is ready to tackle any situation in the wake of a surge in cases across the state and the country. The officials are ready by taking all steps to ensure that the virus spread is contained and vaccination is in full swing.

The minister said that the state achieved 100 percent first dose of vaccination and second dose nearing completion besides offering booster dose.

The minister said that Corona is under control in the state, he said. The minister appealed to the people to wear masks, avoid gathering and maintain social distance. Following corona protocols is a must to check virus spread, he reportedly said. (Maxim News)
