Govt Issues Order Promoting Class X Students

Hyderabad: The State government on Wednesday issued an order for declaring all the students of Class X (SSC/OSSC/Vocational), studying in under various managements during the academic year 2019-20, as pass, as a onetime measure, duly considering their performance in the internal assessments.

According to the order, it was decided to scale up the internal assessments for 20 per cent (four formative assessment tests) to 100 per cent marks. A grade point will be awarded to students on the basis of their internal assessment.

Already internal assessment marks obtained by the students on the basis of the four assessment tests conducted at the school level have been uploaded by the respective school on the Directorate of Government Examinations website. So, the internal assessment marks are readily available for declaring the grade points for the students studying under various school managements.

The State government has directed the Commissioner of School Education and Director of Government Examinations to take necessary action in the matter.
