Hyderabad, March 14 (Maxim News): IT Minister K T Rama Rao said Telangana is keen on heli-ports and sea- ports and push for improved aviation connections to regional areas.
On the third day of ‘Wings India’ program at Begumpet conducted by FICCI and Airports Authority of India, KTR participated along with union minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
On the occasion, the IT minister stated that the state government is ready to increase regional air connectivity to improve business. We are really keen to go in for heliports and seaports for increasing the business, he said adding that revival of airports in the state will be helpful for improvement of regional connectivity.
Aviation sector is witnessing a 14 percent growth and India needs 2400 aircraft in the next 20 years. There are many opportunities to invest in aviation and aerospace sectors. We have to focus on maintenance, repairs center, skill development and others to boost these sectors, the minister added.(Maxim News)
