Govt Should Take Action On Inter Results’ Fiasco: KTR
Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): TRS Working President K T Rama Rao today said the State government should take action against those, who are responsible for Intermediate results fiasco and the alleged suicides by students due to failure in the examinations.
On twitter, KTR replied multiple questions asked by netizens and suggested action against Globalrena Technologies for the results fiasco and Inter Board officials for lapses. The former minister denied media reports of his support to Globalarena agency and sought action as per the recommendations made by three-member committee appointed by the State government. Asked whether Board of Intermediate will be scrapped for the present chaos in the results and suicides by some 20 students, KT Rama Rao said it was for the State government to take a decision. “Being a parent, I am aware of the pain of losing children”, he said, adding he would urge the State government to take stern action against those responsible for entire debacle in the Intermediate results.
When a netizen asked as to why he was intervening in the government affairs without any constitutional post or power, KTR said as an elected representative he can request the officers to take action on public issues and why should anyone have problem with that, he asked. He also said the government was immersed in development programs. “Our focus was on providing facilities and infrastructure in the city which will have underground drainage in five years. The government will check the corruption in Revenue or Municipal wings by bringing in suitable Acts, KTR said.
To other queries, KTR said he does not watch interview of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Bollywood Actor and said that pink pant (Akshay Kumar) was good, he quipped. Stating that he has no interest in AP politics, KTR said the people in the State will decide Chief Minister from any of the MLAs elected.
