Govt’s Good News For Covid-19 Affected Doctors

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has taken a key decision to provide free treatment to all the doctors infected with Covid-19 at the NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad. NIMS Director is said to have sent orders to the superintendent of the hospital in this regard.

The Telangana Government considers doctors as frontline warriors and ordered to treat them free of cost at NIMS.

The orders stated that doctors should be admitted to the NIMS and that an RM should be appointed for taking care of them.

It is well known that recently Junior Doctors in the state went on strike asking govt to settle their demands. One of their demands was to speak free treatment to doctors. The govt seems to have given in to the pressure.

Doctors, who learnt about the free treatment expressed gratitude to the state government.
