Grand Inauguration of Lakshmi Narasimha Divya Swarna Vimana Gopuram on Feb 23
Yadadri/Hyderabad, Feb 19 (Maxim News): The Maha Kumbhabhishekam celebrations at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadagirigutta have begun and will continue until February 23. On this day, the grand inauguration of the Sudarshana Lakshmi Narasimha Swarna Vimana Gopuram will take place.
The special rituals started today at 7:45 AM with Swastivachanam, Vishwaksena Aradhana, Punyahavachanam, and Rakshabandhanam pujas. In the evening, there will be Vishnu Sahasranama recitation, entry into the Yagashala, lighting of the sacred lamp (Akhand Deepa), and other religious ceremonies. The Panchakunda Yagam, a five-day ritual, is being performed under the guidance of Madhura Kavi Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy, the head priest of Vanamamalai Math.
Due to these important ceremonies, the Sudarshana Narasimha Homam, usually performed by devotees, has been temporarily canceled until February 23.
The golden gopuram (tower) of the temple, the tallest of its kind in India, has now been completed. More than 60 kg of gold was used for its plating and installation. The Maha Kumbhabhishekam for the golden gopuram was conducted today at 11:54 AM under the supervision of Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy, the 31st Peethadhipathi of Vanamalai Math.
The grand event on February 23 will be attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, ministers, and other dignitaries. (Maxim News)
