Gudur Narayana Reddy Slams TRS and Congress

Hyderabad, June 21 (Maxim News): BJP senior leader Gudur Narayana Reddy on Tuesday slammed TRS and Congress Parties and asked that not to poison the minds of the youngsters about Agneepath program of the Centre.

In a media statement, Gudur Narayana Reddy said the TRS and Congress parties have unleashed a vicious campaign against Agneepath program which has been designed to strengthen the Indian defense forces and to train the youth for building the nation.

“The Congress and TRS parties are losing ground in Telangana and they have chosen the Agneepath program to downgrade popularity of Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But their evil designs will not work,” said Narayana Reddy. He said the Agneepath program has been visualized not only to strengthen the armed forces but also to prepare the youth for nation building. He said the youngsters trained under Agneepath Scheme would become building blocks of the nation.

He said the age between 16 and 20 years is a critical one in the life of any person and there is a danger of straying into anti-social activities and unhealthy lifestyles which is now witnessed in Telangana. There is an urgent need to put the youngsters on a right path and Agneepath would help immensely in this direction. He said in the rural areas of Telangana, lakhs of youngsters, who failed 10th and Intermediate examinations have been getting habituated to consumption of Ganja and some have become smugglers of Ganja. He said according to his personal experience, nearly 90 per cent of the villages have been facing this problem.

He said that on the average about 100 KG of Ganja is seized in the state every day. Not only Ganja but other narcotic drugs like Cocaine and others are being seized from the peddlers. He alleged that the Congress, TRS and other useless parties have been criticizing the Centre for the Agneepath program. (Maxim News)
