Gulzar Houz Fire Accident: Rs. 5 Lakhs Ex-Gratia Announced For Deceased

Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): Deputy Chief Bhatti Vikaramarka announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 5 lakh to the families of the Gulzar Houz Fire Accident victims. He visited the Osmania Hospital Mortuary and ensured that the post-mortem process was expedited.

Speaking later, Bhatti Vikramarka said that the post-mortem of 17 bodies has been completed in Osmania. He said that the incident is unfortunate. He said that he could not bring back their lives, but he would support their family members. He said that it will be revealed that the accident occurred due to a short circuit.

He said that fire engines arrived at the scene immediately after the accident. He said that CM Revanth and cabinet ministers expressed shock over the accident. He said that the CM spoke to the officials immediately after the incident. He said that the CM spoke to the affected families. He said that Minister Ponnam Prabhakar is monitoring the situation from time to time. He said that the DFO fell ill in the accident. He said that DFO is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

It is known that a fire broke out near Mir Chowk in the old city of Hyderabad. The death toll in this accident continues to rise. While three people died on the spot, 14 others died while receiving treatment in the hospital. The death toll in this accident has reached 17. There were 30 people in the building at the time of the accident, and 17 died. Police say that the condition of some others is critical.  (Maxim News)
