Hyderabad, Feb 6 (Maxim News): ESL Narasimhan, Governor of Telugu States AP and Telangana, felicitated NCC Cadets who participated in the Republic Day Camp at New Delhi held from January 1 to 30, at Raj Bhavan here on Monday.
The NCC Contingent from AP and Telangana, which participated in various activities such as Drill, Firing, Best Cadet Category, Aero Modelling, Equestrian Competition etc. organised as part of the Republic Day Camp, has won the Director General of Remount & Veterinary Services Trophy apart from 3 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals, 7 Bronze Medals and 3 Trophies in various competitions.
Governor appreciated the NCC Cadets who participated in the Republic Day Camp 2017 at New Delhi and presented Medals to the winning cadets. Governor appreciated the efforts of the officers for their hard work. Governor told the NCC Officers that they should plan and organise at least one NCC camp in a month in villages.
He said that NCC Cadets should participate in the village development activities also apart from regular camps.
NCC Cadets presented cultural dance programme and ballet dance on the occasion of ‘At Home’ organised at Raj Bhavan. The skit on demonetisation presented by the NCC Cadets won the special appreciation of the Governor. (Maxim News)
