Guv Mourn Mahatma Gandhi, Recall His Services
Hyderabad, Jan.30 (Maxim News): Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat at program conducted at Langar House to commemorate Father of Nation on his 72nd death anniversary. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who could not attend the program also paid rich tributes to Gandhiji. He recalled his services and ideals as solutions to problems.
The Chief Minister has stated that the path laid by Mahatma Gandhi to achieve peace through non-violence and Satyagraha was always implementable. The Chief Minister said Mahatma Gandhi’s message showed that any difficult task can be attained through Satyagraha and it showed solutions to many a difficult task.
Ministers Mahamood Ali, Talasani Srimivas Yadav, Council chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, party leaders and officials also paid tributes to Father of Nation. The Governor offered floral tributes and recalled his services. Exactly at 11 am, the Governor, State ministers and dignitaries observed silence for two minutes. All-religious prayers were also conducted to mark the occasion. (Maxim News)
