Renowned singer Sonu Nigam celebrates his 48th birthday on Friday (July 30). Widely regarded as the “Lord of Chords”, he started his musical journey at the age of four.
He would accompany his father to stage shows and became popular for singing Mohammed Rafi classics.
In his nearly 30-year-long career, the Faridabad born singer and music composer has sung numerous songs in several languages apart from Hindi. Sonu was the No.
1 artist on the US Billboard Uncharted charts in September and October 2013, Sonu is also the recipient of many prestigious accolades including a National Award and two Filmfare Awards.
