Hyderabad, Nov.3 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today inaugurated a 30 lakh-liter capacity reservoir at Beeramguda in Ameenpur mandal in Sanga Reddy district here. The minister said the reservoir was built at a cost of Rs 69 crore. He also laid foundation stone for a four-lane road near Kishtareddypet to be built at a cost of Rs 49 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said IT & Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao has sanctioned funds for the reservoir despite funds crunch. It is a good day for the sisters of Ameenpur as they are getting drinking water facility after a long time, he said. The people can now avail water facility for another 20 years. He also extended thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and minister KTR for the completion of related works. The water facility became a reality only due to statehood and KCR being the Chief Minister, he said.
The officials were instructed to take up the road works, he said, adding that the Chief Minister was for all-round development and to provide basic amenities in the villages. (Maxim News)
