Harish Rao Lashes Out at Kishan Reddy

Bibinagar (Yadadri Bhongir), May 20 (Maxim News): Minister for Health T Harish Rao today lashed out at Union Minister G Kishan Reddy for misleading the people regarding the State government’s land allocation to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar.

Harish asked Kishan Reddy to get his facts right before commenting against the State government and asked the latter to exert pressure on the Central government to sanction additional staff and the required budget to the AIMS for providing better facilities to patients.

The Health Minister visited the AIMS Bibinagar on Friday and inspected the facilities being provided to patients.

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao criticised the Union government for failing to provide sufficient number of doctors, staff and adequate infrastructure in the hospital.

“There is a need of 185 professors, but only 95 doctors have been appointed.

Similarly, while there is a requirement of 812 nursing staff, only 200 staff were sanctioned. There is no blood bank in the AIMS,” he pointed out.

The Minister said the State government had already transferred about 200 acres of land to the AIMS at the time of commissioning the hospital, but Kishan Reddy was indulging in false remarks that the land has not been allocated to the AIMS. (Maxim News)
