Hyderabad, Oct.9 (Maxim News): Caretaker Minister T Harish Rao today fired a salvo at the State Congress Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy as to why his party has “shamelessly” joined hands with its arch-rival and TD Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing the media at TRS Legislature Party office here, Harish released a letter comprising 12 queries and sought an explanation from the Congress chief. He expressed anguish and dismay at the Congress for forging an unethical alliance with the TDP, which was born against the Congress party. Chandrababu Naidu, who denied river waters, opposed irrigation projects and came in the way of the development of the State will change his stance in his favour, he asked.
Is Chandrababu, who wrote 30 letters against Palamur Ranga Reddy lift project to the Centre ready to take a reverse stand and announce in future that it is genuine, Harish asked. Is the grand alliance between the Congress and the TDP was with some conditions or with some “shame”, he asked. The previous alliance by the two rivals was with some conditions and fought against the statehood for Telangana, he pointed out.
Even after the State formation, Chandrababu continued to conspire against the progress of Telangana State, he charged. He asked Utham to reply whether Chandrababu bereft of opposite stand to Telangana, gave in writing to abstain from fighting against irrigation projects, ready to return the 7 Polavaram mandals from AP. Will Naidu give back 460 mw Siler Power Project to Telangana and release rightful share of waters from the rivers. Did Naidu change his stance on Mission Bhagiratha, who opposed it so far, he asked. Can the Congress ensure that Naidu will release the waters to Telangana from the resources.
The minister sought clarification from Utham Reddy whether Naidu gave took reverse stand on the irrigation projects in favour of Telangana. Chandrababu was noted to come in the way of Telangana growth and projects and moved courts so far and now got a truck for the polls with a conspiracy and not for the growth of the State.
