Hawk Eye: Man who sent abusive messages to girls/ladies on Whatsapp arrested

Hyderabad, March 10 (Maxim News): The Cyber Crime Police, CCS, DD, Hyderabad City arrested one accused namely Uppuluri Mani Ratnam S/o U.Sathyanarayana, Age: 23 years, Occ:- Agricultural, R/o:- H.No 3-141, Main Road, beside Panchayat Office, Nandamuru village, Kovvur Mandal, West Godavari District who was chatting with girls/ladies through WhatsApp and facebook in very objectionable/abusive way by collecting the girls/ladies mobile numbers by making use of internet and hacking the facebook account.

On complaint from M. Shoban Babu, Sub-Inspector of Police, She Team Hyderabad City and stated that a received a complaint in his office through Hawk eye about complainant getting wrong WhatsApp messages from three months from mobile No.8466888721. So he called that number but he/she didn’t received his call after some time he received some threatening messages in his WhatsApp.

To-day morning his facebook account was using by unknown person like accepting all his friend requests and sending request to girls and chatting with them by asking for personal details, phone numbers and photos etc., Hence he requested to take necessary action. A case was registered in Cr No: 48/17 U/s 66(C) & (D) I.T.A. Act-2008 and Sec. 506 IPC.

Modus Operandi
The Modus Operandi of this case that, the accused person collects the girls/ladies mobile numbers by making use of internet. After collection of the mobile numbers, he created a group as “Romantic thoughts sharing” in WhatsAPP with his number 8466888721 for chatting with girls/ladies in very objectionable/abusive way. In the above group he posted abusive/un-parliamentary messages, nude pictures and romantic.

On February 22 he received call and WhatsApp message from phone No.8374754789 and found that that number belongs to Shoban Mog and he is working in Police Department by making use of internet. Subsequently, he sends abusive and threatening messages to the complainant. He also hacked the complainant facebook and send friend requests to unknown girls/ladies and chatting with them as a complainant and also taken their personal details, phone numbers and photos etc. by asking them.

The above operation was carried out by Inspector B Chand Basha, Inspector of Police, SI G.Janardhan, ASI Dilip Kumar, PCs Ch.Sunil Kumar and Madhu under the direct supervision of ACP KCS Raghu Vir. (Maxim News)
