A case was registered against Revanth Reddy in Garidepally PS of Suryapet district in October 2019. The CM had filed a petition to quash the case registered for violating the election code. It said that the High Court judge Justice Mousami Bhattacharya should apologize. The decision on the affidavit to be filed expressing apology was left to Justice Mousami Bhattacharya. Peddiraju was directed to file an affidavit within a week. The Supreme Court adjourned the further hearing for four weeks. (Maxim News)
