Heatwaves Predicted in Several Mandals of AP Today and Tomorrow
Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority has issued a warning to the people of Andhra Pradesh predicting severe heatwaves in the state today and tomorrow.
To this extent, people are advised to be alert and not go out unless necessary. It also stated that along with heatwave, the maximum temperatures will be high and the intensity of the sun will be high.
The AP Disaster Management Organization has issued warnings that heatwaves are likely to hit 35 mandals on Saturday, 73 mandals on Sunday, and 12 mandals on Monday, especially in 15 mandals of Guntur district, 10 of NTR district, and 11 mandals of East Godavari district respectively.
Meanwhile, the disaster management agency said that under the influence of Surface Trough, there is a possibility of light to moderate rains in Annamayya, Chittoor, YSR, Sri Sathyasai, Alluri Sitamaraju, and Anantapur districts today.
