Heavy Floods In Khammam Due To Encroachments: CM Revanth

Khammam/Hyderabad, Sept 3 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that heavy floods have occurred in Khammam due to encroachments.

They will discuss increasing the height of the Munneru retaining wall with the engineers. It has been revealed that encroachments will be identified and will be removed through Survey of India maps. He said that 42 cm of rain had fallen which has never happened in 75 years. He explained that the loss of life was reduced due to the government’s foresight.

Revanth Reddy Fires On BRS MLA Harish Rao

Chief Minister held a chit-chat with media persons in Khammam, Revanth Reddy was angry that former Minister Harish Rao was talking about floods. Harish Rao commented that the leader of BRS should respond to Puvwada’s encroachments. He suggested that Harish tell him that Puvvada Hospital was built on the occupied land and should be removed.  The Chief Minister said that he has written to the Center for Flood Relief.  He said that on behalf of the state government, an aid of Rs. 5 lakh has been announced for the families of the deceased.  (Maxim News)
