Hyderabad, Feb 24 (Maxim News): Telangana is receiving rains . Especially in Hyderabad, the rain is crushing. The rain that started yesterday evening continued in torrential downpours in many areas even in the early hours of the morning. It is raining in many areas including Alwal, Secunderabad, Jubilee Hills, Basheer Bagh.
Hastinapuram received the highest rainfall of 17.5 mm, followed by Suleman Nagar with 14.5 mm, Attapur with 13.5 mm, and Vanasthalipuram and Rajendranagar with 12 mm. The weather department has predicted more heavy rains in the next few hours. The rain has caused power outages in many areas.
Yellow alert for 17 districts
Meanwhile, unseasonal rains are falling across the state due to the influence of a trough formed in the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts. The rain is likely to intensify in the next 2 to 3 hours.
Yellow alerts have been issued for about 17 districts. Especially in districts like Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning rain.
