Heavy Rainfall: CM Revanth Reddy Put Officials On Alert
Hyderabad, Sept 26 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed top officials to remain alert in the wake of incessant heavy rains. He advised that the low-lying areas in various parts of the state, including Hyderabad metropolis, should be monitored from time to time. Heavy rains are lashing the state. In this context, CM Revanth Reddy held a review with Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao and top officials of various departments at the Secretariat in Hyderabad on Friday.
In that order, he issued key orders. The CM made it clear that steps should be taken to prevent traffic problems in the city. On this occasion, the CM ordered that officials of all departments should be alert. Also, the CM ordered that waterlogged areas should be identified and preventive measures should be taken. In Hyderabad, steps should be taken to ensure that GHMC, HYDRAA, as well as NDRF and SDRF teams should be alerted. CM Revanth Reddy instructed the CS to alert the relevant officials in that direction.
On the other hand, heavy rains are lashing various parts of Hyderabad. In this context, the police department has taken measures to prevent traffic problems from arising. Some of them have already advised IT companies to allow software specialists to work from home today. Also, heavy floodwater has reached the roads in various areas. With this, HYDRAA, SDRF, and GHMC teams have entered the field and are continuing relief operations. (Maxim News)
